Purpose of Processing We process and use your personal data in our Applicant Management System exclusively for the purpose of filling vacant positions within the SICK Group. When you apply for a position outside of Germany, your data may be transferred to another country.
Categories of Data
  • Personal data (name, first name)
  • Date of birth (if provided)
  • Contact details (address, telephone number, email)
  • Application documents (cover letter, CV, certificates)
Legal Basis
  • GDPR Article 6 (1) b) – Contract with the data subject
  • AGG § 15 – Retention obligations
Consequences of Non-Provision The provision of personal data is not required by law. If you do not provide the data, we cannot consider you in our application process.
Storage Duration
Data will be deleted once the purpose of the processing is fulfilled.
  • Application data will be deleted 6 months after rejection or hiring.
  • After 12 months of inactivity, your candidate profile will be deleted.
Origin of Data All data processed by us will only be collected directly from you. This is done by setting up a candidate profile as well as during your application process.
Recipients of the Data

We transfer your data to the responsible subsidiary of the SICK Group, depending on the position you have applied for:

Transfer to Third Countries We do not transfer personal data to third countries.
Logic of Automated Decisions We do not make automated decisions that could have legal effects on the data subjects.

We reserve the right to amend our Data Protection Declaration at any time to comply with applicable legal requirements. The current Data Protection Declaration can be called up on our website at any time.
